Therefore, from August 18-22, 2025, the UPA Bahasa ULM hold a Training of Trainers for Teaching IELTS Preparation in collaboration with the Indonesia Australia Language Foundation (IALF) Bali.<\/p>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/upabahasa.ulm.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/WhatsApp-Image-2025-08-20-at-15.12.00-1024x576.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1016\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This activity was attended by 16 participants consisting of lecturers and teachers from the UPA Bahasa ULM. Noor Eka Chandra, M.Pd., emphasized that this training is not only to improve the competence of lecturers, but also this is a new step for students to be better prepared to compete in the global arena. He also said, \"Good English skills are very important, especially for students who want to continue their studies or internships abroad.\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/upabahasa.ulm.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/WhatsApp-Image-2025-08-20-at-19.10.50-1024x523.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1019\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>More good news is that through this collaboration, UPA Bahasa ULM has obtained an official license to administer the IELTS test starting next year. This allows students, lecturers, and the general public in South Kalimantan to take the test without having to travel outside the region. In addition to the official test, UPA Bahasa ULM is also committed to offering IELTS training for students, lecturers, and the general public who want to improve their English skills. Noor Eka Chandra, M.Pd., menekankan bahwa pelatihan ini bukan sekadar meningkatkan kompetensi dosen, tapi ini juga menjadi langkah baru bagi mahasiswa untuk lebih siap bersaing di kancah global. Beliau juga berkata, &#8220;Kemampuan Bahasa Inggris yang baik sangat penting, terutama bagi mahasiswa yang ingin melanjutkan studi atau magang ke luar negeri.\u201d Kabar baiknya lagi, melalui kolaborasi ini UPA Bahasa ULM telah memperoleh lisensi resmi untuk menyelenggarakan tes IELTS mulai tahun depan.
